Different industries have different requirements for the thickness and size of wood chippers, and adjust the spacing between the flying knife and the bottom knife as needed; Quality method for wooden chips:

1 According to the use of wood chips: generally, Paper mill have no specific requirements for the size of wood chips after processing, but in Guangxi, almost all wood chips require the thickness of wood chips to be 0.3-05cm, the length of wood chips to be 2-5cm, and the width to be 3-8cm. No matter which type of log it is, it must be peeled, which means that the wood can only be processed into chips by a chipper after being peeled.

2 According to different raw materials: drum chipper can cut small diameter wood, veneer, Flat noodles, etc. below 120mm, and the cut wood chips can be used as raw materials for fiberboard and pulp

3. Too thick (above 350mm), too thin (below 30mm), too short (below 250mm), too thin (below 5mm), and irregular raw materials (undecomposed tree stumps, branches, etc.) are insufficient to have uniform cutting function

4. Bottom blade wear: The bottom blade has several cutting edges, which may vary depending on the model. Generally, we have 6 cutting edges, which may experience some wear after long-term use. Therefore, blade grinding is necessary, and coolant needs to be added to ensure the stability of the blade grinding.
